Wine-producing Estate Il Colle, owned by Bros Carlo and Alberto Montrasio, extends over a wide territory in the sunny hills of Lucca countryside.

The Estate consists of several plots of land, each of them cultivated with a specific vineyard, so that both the cultivation and the grape-harvesting can be carried out at their best.
The soil and its good sun exposure highly favour the grapes' growing cycle, giving the wine particular and noble organoleptic characteristics. In order to produce wines of a very high quality, the vineyards are completely grassed and the yelds per hectare are limited.
The vines are supervised and cared for devotedly according to traditional methods in order to keep production at constant levels; levels which guarantee excellent wines.
The carefully selected grapes are picked and transported to cellars as they ripen to their best stage.
